Police were called in to help a lost animal in China. TODAY.com's Dara Brown reports.
A slow loris, suspected to have come down from the nearby mountains to forage for food, was rescued from the fifth floor of an apartment building in China.
The big eyed animal was found clinging to railings on the stairs. Wildlife officials identified it as a slow loris, an animal under first class national protection in China.
The slow loris will be under observation for a few days before officials at the Longyang Forestry Administration Wildlife Protection Office determine if it is healthy to return to the wild.
