A 10-year-old pug named Otis is barking mad for skydiving and takes his 64th tandem jump over L.A. with his owner, Will Da Silva. TODAY.com's Dara Brown reports.
It’s all-paws up for Otis, the parachuting pug, flying high after making his 64th tandem skydive at the Lodi Parachute Centre in Acampo, Los Angeles.
The 10-year-old dog makes his jumps in a custom harness and sports specially-made 'doggles' to protect his eyes. Owner Will Da Silva says before jumps, Otis remains so relaxed he often falls asleep on the plane ride up. “Once he's out though he's just having a ball like a dog with its head out of the car window.”
When the jump is over and his four paws are safely planted back on the ground, Otis likes to show off some canine characteristics by wriggling out of his harness, shaking himself off and taking a few victory laps.
